St. John

It's the smallest of the three US Virgin Islands but sometimes, great things come in small packages. Postcard-perfect St. John is a (mostly) unspoiled Caribbean paradise thanks to the Virgin Islands National Parks that covers two-thirds of the island. There are no airports on St. John so access is by boat or ferries. For those travellers wishing to make an environmental-friendly visit, there are several eco-resorts on the island at Maho Bay Camps and Concordia. If you go to St. John, you must visit the National Park. You will reconnect with Nature and yourself as you hike through the park and discover unspoiled white sand beaches.

St. John: To Do

  • Hop aboard a ferry and visit St. Thomas (only 2 miles away), Tortola or Virgin Gorda
  • Watch a sunset on the beach. A wise man once said he who watches the most sunset wins. Ok, I don't know if the guy was that wise or just a wise guy but there is an element of truth to this statement.
  • Visit the world-famous beach at Trunk Bay
  • Practice eco-tourism. Be friendly to the environment.
  • Over 20 trails await you in the National Park.
