The Bahamas

The Bahamas is an archipelago of 700 islands and cays. The Bahamas is a stable, developing nation with an economy heavily dependent on tourism and offshore banking. With its white sand beaches, blue skies, and warm tropical weather (even in Winter), the Bahamas attract over 1 million visitors per year. The islands of the Bahamas offer both modern tourist accommodations and attractions, as well as secluded private beaches. Freeport and Nassau are the two primary port of calls in the Bahamas. Tourism accounts for more than 75% of GDP and directly or indirectly employs almost half of the labour force.
